Meet Our On-Board Mentors: Vassilis Mantzios

You might have seen we started announcing the mentors that will join us on-board of CruiseInn 2016. If not, take a look and find out who is the first person we have announced.

Today we are announcing Vassilis Mantzios, MBA, PMP, PhD Candidate and Innovation and Technology Transfer Manager at AUEB/ACEin.

Vassilis belongs in the founding team of the Acceleration and Incubation center of AUEB, namely the Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ACEin), where he currently holds the position of Innovation and Technology Transfer Manager. He has an extensive experience in supporting nascent companies and technological startups in their early steps of ideation to venture creation.

Alongside his doctoral studies, he has worked for CERN (European Laboratory for Particle Physics) as the main responsible for the commercialization of specific ICT research outputs, through a European Commission Fellowship.

Through his previous engagement with Accenture, he has an extensive experience in complex IT projects both in Banking and Telecommunication sectors, in Greek and European scale. Vasileios holds a MSc. in Informatics combined with an MBA with major in finance from Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).

His research interests include the topics of technology innovation management, technology transfer, entrepreneurial exploitation of research outputs, Augmented Reality, IoT and New Technologies.
