Alexander Caravitis

Alexander Caravitis is the co-founder and CEO of Syncbnb, a product that helps vacation rental owners and managers increase their revenue and manage bookings from multiple sources. He co-founded Syncbnb with Petros Ziogas in early 2017, and they are currently putting together a world class team to build the best solution possible in one of the most rapidly growing markets globally. Prior to Syncbnb, Alex was managing partner and founding member of Viva Group for 10 years, taking on various roles and responsibilities in a team that counted 200+ people at the time he left in 2016. Before that he was in charge of the content services development group at Forthnet where he landed after Forthnet acquired Hellasnet, the premium web development agency in Greece at the time. He is married with 2 kids, and thinks that by running 3 times a week he can burn the calories he devours greedily after long creative sessions at work – someone should tell him he’s not 20 any more.

Michael Tsiknakis

Michael Tsiknakis was born in Heraklion Crete. He is an Economist by degree, graduated from the Athens
University of Economics and Business, and holds an MSc in Finance from University of London, Birkbeck
College. He used to teach Economics and Finance at an English University’s Franchise in Greece while
participating in numerous Entrepreneurship Conferences as a Speaker. He has been working in Retail
Sportswear Business since 2001, at Cosmos Sport sa, where now holds the position of CEO. He is the
founder of, the best online sportswear shop in Greece according to numerous award
competitions. In December 2011, he was elected as Board member at the Heraklion Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, while recently carries on a business as a business consultant, particularly
focused on digital business.

Harris Takas

Harris has been engaged with the thriving e-sports (competitive gaming) industry since it was nascent. He has been involved in various roles in gaming-related projects and launched the first ever professional e-sports team in Greece. He always maintained a keen interest in digital marketing, joining  efood’s marketing team in 2016 as a Digital Marketing & Gaming manager. Today he is Head of Offline Marketing and in charge of 360∞ campaigns, key partnerships and large-scale initiatives. Harris is also a consultant in all things marketing strategy for various companies in the gaming, e-commerce and fashion industries.

Dimitrios Charitidis

Mr. Dimitrios Charitidis, the CEO and Managing Director of TEZ TOUR HELLAS, has vast experience in the tourism sector in Greece and holds a degree in Tourism and Marketing Management. He also serves as a non-executive member of the board of directors of Greek Eurasian Business Council.

Thalia Geladaki

Thalia is the CMO of Beat where she leads marketing strategy across all Beat markets.
In her current role, she grew the marketing team from 4 people to 16 and she was responsible for Beat’s rebranding.

Previously she was Regional Marketing Manager for Coca Cola company and Head of Brand PR at Civitas.
She had the honour to work with some of the most prestigious brands among which adidas, Heineken, Coca-Cola and Mondelez.

She is very interested on how cultural differences affect communication strategy and she is a guest speaker on Marketing courses.

Dimitra Vlachou has studied Μarketing Management at the American College of Greece- Deree College, her post graduate studies were in Marketing Communications from the British University of Bournemouth.

She was responsible from 1999-2006, for the development of the communication strategy of some of the biggest Greek brands like Dairies DELTA, GIOTIS, NOVA digital platform, ANEK LINES, under her capacity of Account Director at the advertising agency JWT SPOT.

Since 2006 and so far she works for the tourism industry and specifically Louis Group. As Research and Communication Manager of Celestyal Cruises was responsible for all the qualitative and quantitative research of the company, the communication strategy for the Greek and the key international markets, media planning and buying, creation of brand image, the strategic development and implementation of themed events that have a key role in the product development of  Celestyal Cruises.

Since 2015, under her role of Experiential Marketing Manager is responsible for the actual product and its development.  This includes the product segmentation, all marketing led activities on board, all materials on board that need to ensure the look and feel of the brand, all events on boards. On 2015 has wan the Gold Award at the Tourism Awards for the themed events and on 2016 the Gold Award for the Cultural Tourism for the Culture and Heritage themed Cruises.

Dora Trachana

Dora Trachana (MSc, PhD Candidate) works as Associate at Previously she was Business Development and International Collaborations Manager at the Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ACEin), the incubator of the Athens University of Economics and Business. She holds a BSc in Management Science and Technology from AUEB and she has received an honorary scholarship for her performance from the State Scholarships Foundation. She has also attended a Graduate Program in Information Systems, where she graduated first and received both a scholarship from State Scholarships Foundation and a titular scholarship from the Department of Informatics of AUEB. She is very interested in the entrepreneurship and innovation domain and she travels around Europe in order to meet new people and new ideas. Currently, she is a PhD Candidate in ELTRUN – the E-Business Center working on Open Innovation and she has presented her research in International Conferences.

Savvas Georgiou

Today it’s time to add a competent Product Manager to the mix, so we are announcing the one and only Savvas Georgiou.

Savvas received his degree in Computer Engineering from NTUA.

He has worked in startup companies since 2009 starting from the incubator of Facebook Fund in Palo Alto. He was a member of the team that contributed to the success of HealthLeap. He was the CTO of the Daily Secret team, while earlier he was Director of Technology (CTO) in Liberi Publications.
